Performance Solutions Africa

Performance Solutions Africa (PSA) was founded as a Black Empowerment company in 1996 in the wake of South Africa’s transition to democracy.

PSA’s initial work involved promoting and supporting dialogue-driven processes between stakeholders in industrial and social environments.

Over the past five years, our focus has shifted to organisational performance improvement with a major emphasis on the training and development of people.

Social dialogue, however, continues to form the foundation of our approach to performance improvement.  We therefore follow processes to encourage stakeholder cooperation in order to both achieve performance improvements, and most importantly, to sustain these improvements.

PSA is principally involved in managing large-scale performance improvement projects in the private and public sectors.  We have developed particular expertise in the clothing and textile industry and more recently we have been providing support in the tourism, provincial and local government sectors.

Funding for our projects is generally derived from international and local organisations and associations including the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Swiss Economic Cooperation Organisation (SECO), Commark, the Cape Clothing Association, Departments of Economic Development (KZN and Cape).

Today PSA has offices in Durban and Cape Town and has a series of associates in Johannesburg and Maseru.
